Sunday we went to the local LDS church building that Charlotte had looked up before our trip. It was a huge buildings that housed many wards (congregations). What was different was that it was a bunch of smaller buildings next to each other with covered walkways. It really shows that evern though it rains that the weather is nicer then even California. It rained on Saturday, but it was a warm rain unlike California's cold rains.
The other thing that struck me was that the church was the same there as it is in California. I know thats a "well duh" statement and that people always say that, but this was the first time that I've attended church out side of the mainland so it really hit home that everythings the same. The meetings the same, the manuels are the same, etc, etc.
