For Halloween Nathans Pre-K class went to a pumpkin patch with rides. First thing that Nathan wanted to do was to ride on the swing ride. Then after some free play on the bounce house and blow-up slide they got together and sang Halloween songs. They got to pick out a small pumpkin.
This year our church had a Halloween party with a Chili feed, a carnival and trunk or treat. Nathan wearing Charlotte's witch hat. Charlotte and Nathan
Ben & his friend Georgy decided that it would be funny to make faces during the photo shoot. I thought that it was hilarious. Charlotte was horrified. Click on the image to for a bigger image to see their faces better.
Nathan has been singing the Primary song "I Am A Builder" a lot lately. He usually only gets the first few verses. Oh yeah, we just got a new camera since we lost the last one and it also does short video recording.
Last Friday evening Acacia Elementary had a movie night out on their playground with a blow up movie screen. The movie was Bedtime Stories which was better then I expected. Ben and I had fun eatting pizza and treats while watching.
Nathan went to one of Charlotte's Storytimes this week and checked out a furry dog puppet. He loves the thing, I wonder what will happen in a month when he has to return it. Friday was his Show and Tell for Pre-K, this is afterwards.
I found a recipe in a halloween cookbook from Target for a Cookie Caterpiller. It didn't look as good as the picture in the book, but they had fun making it, so thats what's important.
Nathan started Pre-K last Wednesday. His teachers are Mrs Cotty and Ms Laurie who Ben had also had when he was in Pre-K. Nathan loves his teachers and his class and is really trying to do well in his class.
