Walking along the Sea

After visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific we walked around the walkways along the Sea and the docks. Ben & Nathan kept pretending that the telescopes were guns. I will post Aquarium pictures next week since its late.

Ben's First Day at Kindergarden

Ben started Kindergarden last Wednesday. I had been asked to help clean our churches Temple so Charlotte put Nathan in the stroller and walked Ben a few blocks to take him to his first day of Kindergarden. He seems to really enjoy his teacher.

Tuesday: LA Zoo

Tuesday as part of our week of fieldtrips (Scroll down for Monday) we went to the LA Zoo. There were lots of animals to see and most of them were not in a place where I could take a pictures with both them & the boys in the picture. But I did take a picture of one of the Gorillas in the new Gorilla enclosure. Later after seeing many animals and losing Nathan for 10 minutes who had ran off to see the monkeys while I was packing up lunch, we took time to play at the Zoo playground. After that I had to carry Nathan since it was a huge Zoo and the boys were tired

Monday: La Brea Tar Pits

This week summer school was over and regular school starts tomarrow so I took the boys on a number field trips. On Monday we went to the La Brea Tar Pits and saw fossils & animatronic Ice Age animals. The boys keep saying that it was their favorite trip of the week, but that all depends on when you ask them. Oh and one of my lifesavers was to allow Nathan to bring his roller ducky backpack when he asked me and to put the food & snacks in it. So that keep his hands occupied and ment less for me to carry and he seemed enjoy pulling it.
