Fathers and Sons Campout

Last week Ben and Nathan and I went to Lake Castaic for our church's Fathers and Sons campout. Nathan learned how to chop wood. 

The boys cooked dehydrated food packs for a Boy Scout requirement for Nathan.

Detective Pikachu

Nathan and I went to see Detective Pikachu. 

Family Temple Trip

Friday we went as a family to the temple to perform baptismal ordinances. Ben baptized.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center

Since the boys and I were on Spring break we went out to Laguna Beach to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center for fun to see Seals and Sea Lions. The PMMC helps small sea mammals that have been injured, starved or other issues and gets them to a point where they can be returned to the sea much like Sea World helps bigger sea mammals.

LDS Prom

Ben went to LDS Prom last night and had a great time! We have a special Prom where youth can enjoy each others company while still keeping the standards of our church! Any teens in High School age 16 and up can attend.

Grandma Sally's 80th Birthday

March 3rd is my Mother's 80th birthday so we had a family celebration lunch at a restaurant called Steamplant which is an old steamplant rebuilt into a really neat restaurant in Spokane
