Pirate Island & Jedi Academy

The Tom Sawyer Island was recently rethemed to a Pirates of the Carribian Theme. The boys loved it!

In Tomarrowland they have a Jedi Academy where they pick kids from the audience and Mace Windu trains them in Lightsaber fighting and then the fight ether Darth Vader or Darth Maul.

I got glasses for the first time the day after I returned from Spokane. I have something called Karataconus which makes my right eye the shape of a football instead of a sphere and blurs my vision. The glasses help me with that.

Around the House

Grandma Sally bought the boys matching train sweaters.
Nathan just layed down on the ground one Sunday afternoon and went to sleep!

I introduced the boys to Pomegrantes for the first time. Of couse I removed their shirts since the juice can really stain.

New Couer D Alene Library

Like Winnie the Pooh to Hunny Charlotte always has to make a Beeline to any and all libraries. So we stopped at the newly built Couer D Alene library located near Lake Couer D Alene and the Hagadon resort.

The boys and I hung out while Charlotte and Mom checked out the library.

The next day we drove to Couer D Alene to see places that I grew up (posted on the Family History blog) and to have dinner at my Brother Dave's. During the day we took a McDonalds break for the boys.

Charlotte & the boys insisted on coming with my Mom & I to Colfax, Washington to visit the Cemetary where both of my Maternal Great Grandparents are bured. Ben & Nathan were running on grave markers and pulling flowers out of vases so Charlotte occupied them with leaf jumping so that I didn't kill them.

When we arrived in Spokane Heather had a small party for me and then the next evening Dave and Michelle's family came to my Mom's house for a get together.

Nathan wanted to be Thomas again for Halloween and he wore the costume to our church party, but when we went Trick or treating he wouldn't wear it. He said that he wanted to be Spiderman. It was a good thing that he was already in a Pumpkin shirt so that he could go trick or treating.
