Morro Bay
Sunday we left for a short 3 1/2 day trip to Morro Bay. When we got there we walked around the town a little.
Montana de Oro
Here the boys climbed all over a big rock, I explored and drew Seagulls and we went to a lookout. Later we went to a fairy forest and the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History.
Sunset Drive Inn
The first picture is just one of the boys sitting the second we took the boys to their first drive inn experience. It was a double feature of Toy Story 4 and Aladdin. Before that we found a really great pizza place.
Hearst Castle Zebras, Elephant Rookery
We didnt stop, but outside of Heart Castle theres a bunch of wild zebras from a former zoo running wild with cows.
We also went to an Elephant Seal Rookery. Heres my drawings for them.
Later we ate at a really good taco place
Ragged Point
Wednesday we stopped at Ragged Point for the view, the boys hiked down to the rock beach. I made it halfway down since I was just over a cold and it was a little steep.
