The library had a program today where an organization brought in pretty much every instrument that you can think of for kids to try out. I even got to mess around with a Cello which made me miss playing back in middle school a little!
Our Ward had the 2nd weekly Beach Day Thursday at Zuma Beach in Malabu (1st for us since last week was Cub Scout Camp) The boys enjoyed throwing beach mud at each other! and jumping into the waves. Afterwards I drug them through an art gallery at Pepperdine University.
This year the Transformers convention Botcon was in Pasadena so my Friend Dave and I toke Ben, Nathan and his son Dylan. These are actually regular people who made these awesome suits and attend conventions. We walked around the vendors and bought some stuff, got free Transformers and attended a panel about future Transformers coming out.
Friday was my last session in Nathan's class, they each wrote letters and pictures expressing their appreciation and made a book. Its been such a fun and special experience teaching the various classes the things that I've learned by the too many to mention artists who have taught me things.
