Easter 2014

The Easter Bunny brought the boys a basket with candy and a small Lego set and hid eggs. Ben thinks that this will be the last year of Nathan believing.

Lego Day at School

Mrs Reed texted us this picture of Nathan's class doing something with Legos, I'm not quite sure what though since there wasn't any explanation.

Redwood Middle School Spring Carnival

Twice a year Redwood Middle School (Where Ben will be going next year, scary!) has a Carnival, I'm guessing to both raise money and to introduce new students and others to the canpus. Ben and Nathan spent most of their time playing Lasertag. I circled them.

Pinewood Dirby

This was the first Pinewood Dirby that Ben didn't take part. Nathan almost consistently got third place. We have never really been great at it, but I make sure the boys have fun doing it. Popcorn sales are the thing that we get competitive. We sold over a thousand dollars in popcorn last year.

 Nathan's is the black on that's closest to us.

Ben's Race, the 5th graders ran for 30 minutes, Ben got 23 laps

 

It was funny a couple of the younger grade teachers brought their kids to cheer on the runners and at one point Frozen's "Let It Go" was playing and they started singing along.

Nathan's Race The 3rd Graders ran for 20 minutes and I believe Nathan did 15 laps 

Nathan's third grade play: Vacation to Mars

The whole third grade put on a play called Vacation to Mars, Nathan didn't have a big part, but I'm kind of glad since he's focused on being the Ship Captain and the Seahorse in the school play THe Little Mermaid which is in May.

Blue and Gold Dinner

Nathan and I used Harry Potter Lego figures to decorate our cake for the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Dinner. Ben  had his first Boy Scout Court of Honor Sunday night, but I forgot my camera.

Cub Scout Pack Meeting

Nathan received his Bear award for January's Pack Meeting, also the boys received their prize of a $40 Wal-Mart giftcard for selling $1024.00 in popcorn sales. Since they were #1 in sales they also received a crossbow foam dart gun which they have since been constantly shooting each other when inside the house.

Charlottes Birthday

We had a small family Birthday Party for Charlotte and wore leftover Thomas the Tank Engine paper hats for her birthday, but she was being a vain punk and wouldn't let me post any pictures, next time I'm just going to draw a picture of her in a pink bunny suit with a purple Ballerina Tuu Tuu.

Acacia fundraiser: Chuck E Cheese

Nathan always likes to get into the ticket tube, he caught onto the fact by watching others that if you tuck in your shirt and stuff tickets in your shirt you can collect more tickets.

Library Lego Activity

Once a month Charlotte has the library host a Lego build activity. I toke the boys and this is how excited Nathan was.

Nathan and Andy's Joint Birthday Party

So Nathan and Andy are school friends and have the same Birthday. So ever since the beginning of the school year they have been plotting a joint birthday and every few weeks Nathan would come to me and tell me of their ever increasing plans which started out as a simple party and eventually escalated to the Grand Canyon and Disneyland! So we decided to take control of things and have a simple party and Andy's home.

 I oversaw a Lego game.

Universal Studios

For Charlotte's Brother David's Birthday he invited us to Universal Studios for a very enjoyable time. They even bought the boys these character mugs/
