Library Summer Reading Program Activities

Reading to Dogs

Animal Presentation

J.R.R Tolkin Presentation, the speaker was ok, but it was cool to play with the swords afterwards.

Legos

This was my first Lego set as an adult, normally I help Nathan build his Lego sets, this time he helped me!

Toys R Us had their regular build a Lego set and take it home activity, it was some Lego Chima set.

Sushi Nishi

Before leaving for Utah and Spokane the parents of Ben and Nathan's friends own a Sushi restaurant invited us for dinner. this was my first time having Sushi.

Spokane, Washington Trip

I went to Spokane, Washington to visit my Mom and family which was a good trip. These are some pictures of Downtown Spokane, Washington.

Couer D Alene Fair

Michelle Mom and I went to the Couer D' Alene Fair.

We were going to go on rides, but it was so expensive.

Scout Camp

Ben and Nathan had Scout Camp right after school got out, this was Nathan's skit. Their favorite activities were the rifles and archery.

Max & Me

We drove to David's in Danville last month for Mark's Wedding Party/Reception and Amy's son Max toke a liking to me. Olivia and Eli were a little less shy with me also.

Autry Museum

I toke the boys to the Gene Autry California history museum since Ben had studied California history this last school year. The boy's favorite part was this fake jail cell and the gun room.

Our usual trip to Utah was filled with sleeping out on the street (for me) for the Provo parade, The Stadium of Fire concert with Cirque Du Soliel, Carlie Rae Jepsen And Kelly Clarkston, Seeing the Lone Ranger with Chris, Austin and the last time that I'll see Jordan before he went on his mission this week. There was also a huge Booth family Reunion that was held at their old (refurbished) farm and a church building. Made me wish that my side of the family was cohesive enough for something like that. We also went to Adam and Rachael's baby Monet's blessing.
