April/May stuff

April Pack Meeting, during spring break both Ben and Nathan earned the Video Gaming belt loop and pin which sounds silly, but its actually a good award since they had to make out a daily schedule of when to play games, do homework chore and other things, they also had to talk with their parents about game ratings and what each rating meant, besides actually playing video games. they received those awards this last pack meeting.

 May 4th was free Comic Book Day so I toke Ben and Nathan to my favorite store in Burbank "The House of Secrets" and we got our fill (they have a rule of 3 per person so we make sure to all get a different comic and were able to walk out with everything we wanted). May 4 is also an unofficial Star Wars Holiday (May the 4th be with you) and Toys R Us had another Lego event where the kids builds a small thing with instructions and gets to take it home and that days model was a Star Wars ship, so we went the right after Free Comicbook day.

 Charlotte was in another play this one was a variety show called "Lets Do Something" (stupid name, but the first letters make LDS), she was someone trying out for an audition. she tried out with this piece to get into the show and they actually created a whole section of the show around that piece! This is a horrible photo from my tablet. I'm trying to figure out how to upload my shaky video that I made.

Easter 2013

This was the first time that Ben was inducted into the Society of Secret Keepers of the Mythical Holiday Characters. (AKA I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, etc and its you guys) Charlotte was beside herself about her little baby growing up. So now Ben has been been charged to keep the tradition going with Nathan for as long as he wants to keep going and Charlotte threatened him with bodily harm if he did otherwise. Other then that we had a great Easter.

Nathan loved playing Dodgeball during recess,dodgeball used to be cool back when I was a kid, someone would stand at the wall while everyone would throw balls at them, everythings become a nannystate today. But Nathan loves it.

BYU Shirts

Grandma Larsen got Ben and Nathan BYU Basketball shirts while CHarlotte was visiting this weekend.

Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner: Hawaiian Theme

This years Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner was Hawaiian themed. Be received his Webelos badge.

Ben also was acknowledged for being the second biggest Popcorn seller in last October/Novembers fundraiser, he knocked doors and sold at stores. I'm really proud of him. Also from what I've heard the number one seller go most of his sales from relatives, not that we're bitter or anything.

The boys and I baked a cake together and they decorated it with their Lego mini figures, drink umbrellas, we frosted it with dyed frosting and sprinkles for texture. We also made fruit kabobs and rice together as food assignments, it was a busy week!

The Dads and sons toke part in s tribal chant, the boys chanted to the Dads to scare them into not fighting.
