We got into Utah For Megan's Wedding and there was a 1st year birthday party for Amy & Jeremy's daughter Olivia.

Lego Camp Monday: Cars and buildings

On the first day they built Cars and each made a building to park at. They connected all of the building/roads to make a city.

Lego Camp Tuesday: Helicopters & Tower

Today they built helicopters and it was the first day that they worked with the battery/remotes. They also built a tower that was taller then them. This class wasn't just building, they learned important engineering principles like overlapping.

Lego Camp Friday: Robots and Towns

On the last day they made Robots. The second photo Ben told me was a robot exercise area. The last one is of the end of the class where everyone would smash their creations and then pick up all of the Lego's and put them into containers.

Ben has started reading by himself this Summer. Its so cool watching it.

California Science Center

Thursday we went to the California Science Center since it was overcast and I didn't feel like going to Beach day. The first part was silly alternative energy stuff and the boys were bored. But when we got to some other rooms Ben really got into it and Nathan somewhat. I think that Nathan will enjoy it more when he's older.

This was the Eygptian room, the boys liked this one the most with mummies, pulling pyramid stones rebuilding pots, sitting on a cammel and more.

They really liked the Tree room since there was a huge tree fort/tunnels.
This was the North/South Pole room.

They had these arm things the boys put their arms through to be able to manipulate things on the other side of the glass.
