St Patricks Day
The Lepurchans visited us on St. Patericks Day and left a trail of green M&M's which lead to chocolate gold coins & rocks painted gold. We found that they also dyed our milk green.

ST Patricks Day & Easter Program

As part of some of the work that I do with the Seminary youth program in our church we had an early Easter program on the life of Christ where we had 4 rooms with John the Beloved in the room of the Last Supper, Peter in the Gardin of Gethsemine, Pilot here he judges Christ & Mary at the tomb talking about their experiences. I had to escort the students from room to room and everyone dressed in the costumes that had been created for local churches production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This was me in my costume.Sunday, March 15, 2009

Nathan Painting
This was one of Nathan's last days at Horizon Hills. We usually can't get him to sit to do Art and the teacher never forces the kids to do anything, but this time he actually did it.
We recently switched Nathan into Pre-School at the local Park & Rec since most of the Mom's in his class had pulled their children out of class because of the teacher. His new teachers make structure a big part of their class which may not be developmentally appropriate by so called experts, but this class actually prepares them for real school and is educationally appropriate. Nathan loves his new class and is actually making friends there.

Recently one of Charlotte's work friends gave us a great gift by giving us boxes of her grown up son's Legos, Construx and other things. Many large sets of Legos. Ben & I have been spending time every night working on one of those sets and Nathan not being ready to follow instructions in order to build something felt left out. So this morning I built him an Alien spaceship out of Construx pieces and he just beamed. It made him so happy he had to bring it with him on the car ride to church.
